Sant Dnyaneshwar Shikshan Sanstha's, Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology (ADCET), Ashta is one of the iconic public institutions of higher technical education in Western Maharashtra, distinguished by its compassion to produce engineers with competence for improving the human condition and building the nation. Established in 1999, ADCET, Ashta is an Autonomous institute affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute is accredited with “A++” grade by NAAC Bengaluru, ISO 9001:2015 certified and runs programmes accredited by NBA, New Delhi. About the Department

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology was established from the Academic Year 2013 - 2014 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students, from the year of inception the department has been vibrant and innovative. 

The UG program B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) offered by the Department of Aeronautical Engineering is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation for three years (2019 - 20, 2020 - 21, & 2021 - 22), which is further extended for three years (2022 - 23, 2023 - 24 & 2024 - 25) based on the compliance report submitted. Seven batches have successfully graduated from the department with commendable academic and placement records. The Department of Aeronautical Engineering is well equipped with laboratories to give the required practical & hands-on experience to the students, some of the mentionable equipment are, Subsonic Wind Tunnel, Gas Turbine Engines, Radial Piston Engines, and Ultrasonic Testing Setups. The department also has a Cessna 152 Trainer Aircraft with all the Instrument panels in ground-worthy condition to train the students. The department is well equipped with 40 Computers and 02 workstations to cater for the computing facility needs of the faculty and students.
